Tide Pools

Yesterday Matthew, Aaron, and the boys and I went tidepooling with the hiking group at a beach in Encinitas called Swami's that I'd never been to before. (So that's a record for me -- going to the beach two times in one week in the winter time.  Who knows, maybe we're going to become a year round beach family?)  Anyway, it was fun exploring a new beach, seeing friends, and hanging out with my brothers before they leave tomorrow to go back to college. The boys found lots of hermit crabs, a few little shrimp, a couple different kinds of little sea slugs, and I caught several little tiny baby crabs. Fun times. I wish the vacation from school (and normal life) wasn't ending.
