The Girl of Eli’s Dreams

The other day for family home evening we were all practicing one of the Articles of Faith, and one of the boys asked what ordinances were. So we started to tell them some of the different ordinances you can receive in the church – baptism and confirmation, receiving the priesthood, marriage, etc. The boys were talking about what ages the different things happen at, and saying that they go on a mission when they are 19, and I asked them how old they are when they get married. None of them knew, and we told them you don’t get married until after you get back from your mission. And they were talking about marriage a little bit and Eli said, I think I’ll choose Nana. We just had to call my mom and tell her that she was the girl of Eli’s dreams. So cute!
