I did something like this a few years back, and thought it might be fun to do again:
Over the last 8 years together we have lived in four different time zones and four different states. We’ve had seven cars, two pets, four computers, about 6 or 7 cell phones, five cameras (including Michael’s work cameras), a VHS player, two DVD players, one blu-ray player, and one television. We’ve gotten two undergrad degrees and one med school degree, and our kids have attended three different preschools and one elementary school. Two of our grandparents and one great grandparent have passed away. And we have become an aunt and uncle to two nieces and five (almost six) nephews. We have seen three of our siblings go on missions for our church. We have attended nine temples together (San Diego, Chicago, Palmyra, Boise, South Jordan, Provo, Salt Lake, Bountiful, and Nauvoo), and we went to a tenth temple open house (Draper). We have gone through five different strollers, five carseats, and three booster (car) seats. We have lived in seven different places: four different apartments, my parent’s house for a summer, my Grandma’s basement during Michael’s internship year, and one house. We have had five children and only two significant hospitalizations. Our family has logged at least six emergency room visits, only one set of stitches, and zero broken bones (knock on wood). We’ve had seven Christmas trees (eight, if you count the one in my college apartment just before we got married), and our boys have totaled 20 Easter baskets so far. I don’t even want to think about how many diapers we’ve gone through. We’ve enjoyed family vacations to ten states (six of those being on a short trip through the Eastern states) and to Canada. This will make 879 blog posts since we started in May 2007. Our five inter-state moves have totaled 6,292 miles, (or approximately 99 hours and 16 minutes driving time). We have now been married for 2,922 days (and I was only pregnant for approximately 1,350 of those days). Our family has celebrated 36 birthdays. Michael and I have enjoyed all eight years we’ve had together so far, and we’re looking forward to sharing many more years to come.

Congrats on the 8 years!! I remember coming out to SD with Grandma B. As it turns out, a good friend of mine from BYU got married the same day, same time, same temple. Today, their blog post title is the exact same as yours!! All I had to do was walk around to the other side of the temple where they were taking pictures to say hi. I remember it was a gorgeous day!! Beautiful couple, beautiful family. :)
Congrats!
