We had a snow day last week. We went out and shoveled the driveway in the morning, and I measured 14 inches of new snow on the driveway (and 18 inches just off of the driveway where there was some snow already). It continued to snow through the rest of that day and the next, so I’m not sure how many inches we totaled, but it was the one big snowstorm we’ve had here this winter (at least so far). They had a snow day from school, and the boys went out to play in the back yard, but Isaac came in shortly (he could barely walk through it), and I had to go out and rescue Eli who was hanging from the swing set when his boot and sock fell off in the snow. Courtland had fun trying on his big brother’s hat, and watching the big boys play outside. And then everyone enjoyed hot chocolate when they came inside, of course.
