So, I found this little six-legged table at a garage sale when we first moved to Milwaukee, and I think it’s so pretty. I love the decorative legs and the inlayed table top. This summer I polished it up and it looked just beautiful with its dark wood. But this little table has been getting more and more wobbly since I found it, and a few months ago one of the legs just fell off. While we were carrying it down to the basement (to put it away until we could fix it), a second leg fell off. It’s been sitting down there since then, and the other night I decided to see if I could fix it. I brought it upstairs (when a support beam fell off in the process). Luckily it was mostly a job of tightening and replacing lost screws, although I had to be a little creative where some old wood pins that had held the support beams in place had broken in half. But I got it all back in one piece. And I think it will hold up just fine, as long as no one touches it. :)
