This week Kolby’s friends, Rafaela and Emily, came over to play, and the boys were all having so much fun with them. They went out back (it was a nice warm 50 degrees out) and had fun splashing in a big puddle from the melting snow (they said they were making a swamp). Then they had hot chocolate after coming inside, and we all went down to play in the playroom, where they first put on a performance – complete with dancing, singing, playing instruments, and ballet all choreographed by Emily, and then they played doctors and Kolby and Emily were doctors while all the other kids had injuries. I couldn’t help laughing when they diagnosed Rafaela with an “upside down brain” and told her that she would need surgery, but that it would take her years to recover.
