After breakfast on Christmas morning we sent the boys down to the basement to ‘put some toys away,’ while I was waiting down there for them. They had no idea that Michael and I had spent hours at nighttime before Christmas cleaning out the basement and setting up a playroom for them. For Michael and I, the anticipation of waiting for them to see their new playroom was one of the most exciting things about the days leading up to Christmas. And the boys loved it. Eli soon learned that he could climb the pole in the center of the room, and it only took him a few tries before he could get all the way to the ceiling. They have been having fun playing in their new room, especially with the climbing toys, slides, and the swings. So, here are the pictures and video clips of them in their new playroom -- unfortunately, though, I can't get it to upload the video clip of the boys when they first came down and saw it, but they were really surprised and excited. (That first photo is of how the basement looked before Michael and I got the playroom set up).
