We are really excited about the neighborhood where our house is located. (It still sounds strange to say “our house”). It’s a quiet neighborhood with a little street that’s not busy at all and there are lots of houses that are similar styles as the one we got, with well-kept yards. Out in New York lots of the back yards are open areas that all seem to run together, and many of the yards don’t even have fences. It was fun for us to look down along the lines of houses and see play equipment or trampolines in at least half of the back yards, so we know there are lots of kids in the neighborhood. And it seemed like every time we visited the house we saw parents with young kids walking around the neighborhood. There is a little walking path that runs along the side of our house to connect the different streets in our neighborhood, and directly across the street from our house is a path that leads behind the houses to a long green belt. Beyond the grassy area is a little stream, and then a wooded area with well-maintained walking trails through the trees. We went walking through that area on the day that we decided to make the offer on the house, and when we came out on the other side of the wooded area there was a sign that says that area is called Beechwoods Park. I had fun taking pictures as we walked along the trails, and then I took some photos as we walked back towards the house of some houses in the neighborhood.

Ok. So I have looked at all the pictures (very thurough by the way! It helps me see what it is going to be like for you.) and now I was wondering when we get to see your house? Don't keep us in suspense.
