For some reason Courtland has something against sleeping at night (although he will gladly sleep peacefully off and on all day long), and unlike our other babies he cries at night and I can’t get him to calm down (he does this at least a couple nights a week so far, and it is an adjustment because we haven’t had to deal with colic before), he loves to be held (which is really nice, except for the fact that I have to hold him all night long to try to get some sleep or else he automatically wakes up within 10 minutes of laying him down), and he seems to want to nurse at increasingly shorter intervals the last few days (which I would normally try to hold him out for 3 to 4 hours in between feedings, except for the fact that he was underweight at his 2-week check-up, so I am being a little more flexible with his feeding schedule). Actually, I don’t have much to complain about, since he really is a very sweet little baby, except for the issues with trying to get him to sleep at night. But, really, who could resist falling totally in love with this perfectly adorable little face?

Hey Stephanie, I haven't checked your blog in a while. Congrats on the new little boy! I hope he grows out of his restlessness at night. Good luck!
I love that it looks like he's smiling in his sleep!
