The Boys with Nana and Papa

I love this picture of Kolby and Eli reading together, and the best part was that I didn’t even pose the picture – I just came in and they were sitting together like this.

The boys all had lots of fun reading with Nana while we were there too.

And I love these shots of Isaac with Papa in their matching hats!

It Feels Good To Get Organized

So, this morning the boys asked me if they could clean their room (they know that they aren't allowed to get a new set of toys out of the closet unless their bedroom is totally clean). So, while they picked up their toys, I got out the drill and started screwing hooks into the walls. I got the hooks a few weeks ago, and have been putting off installing them until now. It took a while, (because I had to move one of the quilts up higher on the wall) but I got it all done, and now they have places to hang up their winter coats, their sweatshirts, Kolby's backpack, and their construction and fireman hats. I figure hanging up their sweatshirts will free up some space in their dresser and having a place that they can put their coats away on their own will make less cleaning up around the house for me to do. I guess I'll just need to get one more hook, so Eli will have a place to hang up his backpack once he starts going to the preschool classes this winter after he turns 3. Anyway, I thought I'd share -- it always feels good to finish a project.
