Happy Easter

We started out the morning with a fun little Easter egg hunt in the back yard for the boys.

And then we did a simple little activity about the true meaning of Easter that our friends gave to us earlier this week: it had twelve different plastic eggs that were each numbered, and we went around and took turns opening each egg and pulling out little items that symbolized the different parts of the Easter story, such as a stone or a piece of red cloth or three "silver" coins, and reading the scriptures that went along with each part.  That was a nice little activity to hep focus on the sacrifice the Savior made for all of us and the Atonement & Resurrection -- I think it may become an Easter morning tradition at our house.

Then we finished by watching the short video clip about Jesus, "The Prince of Peace," that the church recently released.  Happy Easter!
