Sunset Cliffs

Yesterday my brother, Aaron, unexpectedly had the day off work, so we decided to do a little beach exploring. We went to Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach. It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately it wasn't low tide when we went, but we decided we definitely need to find a Saturday when it will be low tide to go spend some time exploring more down at the water line -- there are all sorts of little books and crannies and caves along there at low tide. We walked along above the cliffs and went down on the rocks wherever there were safe spots to do so. And we went on a little path down to a beach that reminded Mom of the island beaches in Hawaii because the water got deep quickly as you walk into it from the shore. We walked and explored for a couple hours, and it looked like there was a lot more exploring to do if we'd had more time. We'll definitely have to go back another time and do some more exploring with the whole family.

(There were people jumping off that cliff right behind Courtland's head into the water, even though there was a sign saying no jumping or diving).

We are actually in Denver, co area. It's nice here but I do miss home. I used to go back a lot when we just had one kid but now with 3 it's a lot harder.
