family night chalk board

We got this cute little chalk board for our weekly family nights (we couldn’t pass it up – I thought it was cute and I was thinking about trying to make something like it, but it was for sale for quite a bit less than the materials would have cost to do it myself, plus it had seven spots for names, and how often do you find that?)  Anyways, the boys have absolutely loved it.  They get so excited about who is doing what each week, and reading in the children’s ‘Friend’ magazine for stories to use when they are in charge of the lesson.  Oh, and we didn’t used to have treats every time for family home evening, but now they get really excited whenever it’s their turn to make the treats.  So far we’ve gotten to sample a couple different flavors of pudding and some yogurt covered raisins.
