At the Sprayground
For playgroup last week we went down to Seneca Lake State Park to a “sprayground” they have there right on the lake. It is a bit of a drive to get there, but worth it if you’re going to stay for a while. The boys enjoyed the water, and they played on the playground when they got tired of it, then headed back into the water again. Courtland had fun walking around holding hands with our new friend, Isabella. And Kolby and Eli especially enjoyed running through the water with Parker, a new little boy who is Eli’s age and just moved in (and seems just about as active as my boys, so they get along really well). Camden had fun playing and racing with his big brothers, and he especially enjoyed a little area where the water made a kind of bridge that the kids could try to run under. And Isaac and Courtland took turns wearing their specially froggy towel after they’d had enough of the water. It was a nice little trip.
