So, here’s our garden. We got the raised beds and the little fence built, and we’ve started to put together a gate, but haven’t quite finished that yet. We got that big pile of dirt hauled back there, and we’ve gotten most everything planted. We’ve got a strawberry patch (and are planning to add more strawberry plants), lots of different kinds of tomatoes, three kinds of basil, some cilantro, onions, garlic, a banana pepper, summer squash, pumpkins, some potatoes, eggplant, broccoli, zucchini, cucumbers, two kinds of lettuce, spinach, and watermelon. And we’ve also planted seeds for bell peppers, lots of different kinds of winter squash, carrots, red and golden beets, some more onions, peas, and green beans. I think that’s everything. We have a few more things to plant – and I’m planning on starting some more carrots and beets in a week or so, so we can have them ready at a few different times instead of all at once. We’ve enjoyed the garden so far, and some of the plants have really started to take off. I was worried at first that maybe the plants wouldn’t grow because we might do something ‘wrong,’ but I felt better when the pumpkins sprouted (they were the first things we planted from seeds), and then several other seeds sprouted too. So, there’s also a picture in there of “Flopsy,” the little 3-legged frog we found in the yard that lived in our garden for about a week before finding a new home. And, of course, I had to take a picture of the first thing we ate from the garden (other than munching on a couple of strawberries) – we used some of our sweet basil and purple basil on a pizza the other night, and it was pretty yummy.

Love your garden - it looks great!!! I'm jealous you already have tomatoes growing. We couldn't plant til just a couple weeks ago because it's been such a cold spring, so I have baby plants compared to yours!
oh it looks so good! I love it.
