The Garage

So, while the boys were doing a parade around the yard, Michael and I were busy organizing the garage. We hung up a shelf so (that was originally intended to store the lawn mower during the winter, but it wasn’t sturdy enough to hold up the lawn mower, so the lawn mower ended up on the top shelf of another set of shelves in the garage, and we put the kiddy pools with all the boys’ outdoor summer toys on the hanging shelf). Michael put up some hooks so we could hang the boys’ larger bikes up in the rafters, and we also hung up the bike trailer and a stroller. We got everything organized on the shelves, and we got the shovels and rakes all hung up too. And we used a big wooden box I found to keep the firewood and newspaper for the fireplace. Now we can actually walk all the way around the minivan when it’s in the garage, which is nice now that it’s snowy outside not to have to open the garage door and walk around the back of the van through the snow just to get in the driver’s side door.
