And now for Camden. Camden turned three years old in September. I’ve always said that Camden is my little sweetheart because he always seems to be trying to be kind to others. Not that doesn’t have his own little stubborn streak, but he has always been a very kind child. Camden tries to share well with other children, and is very concerned for others around him, often reminding us to be careful not to cut or burn ourselves. Camden love his nursery class, and he also likes to go to playgroup with his brothers and some of his friends. And I know that Camden will do well once he is ready to start kindergarten. I was surprised the other night when we played a new “I Spy” ABC Bingo game with the boys, and Camden could quickly recognize every letter of the alphabet without any help – we hadn’t worked on him with his letters yet, but he knows all of them. What a smart little kid! Camden’s favorite color lately is dark purple – he has a little purple fleece blanket that he carries around, and he always insists on having the sippy cup with the purple lid (although he thinks that this color is pink, and is always asking for the pink cup, even though I keep telling him we don’t have any pink cups at our house). He likes to take books and stuffed animals with him to bed, especially a green frog puppet from Nana and any of the ‘beanie baby’ animals that we have accumulated over the last few years. Camden loves to eat – although none of our boys are picky about food, he is often the last one at the table while he finishes his second helping. Camden is a good little helper around the house too, but he always insists on having one of his brothers help him when he’s picking up toys around the house. He likes to help in the kitchen, always pulling up a stool so that he can see whatever we are doing. Camden is such an adorable little boy, with his blonde hair and cute dimples – and it’s fun for me that at least one of my boys has my same blue-green eyes. Camden loves to be held – asking to be carried down the stares or to have a ‘holdy’ with Michael or I, but he is also becoming very independent lately, having finished potty training, learned how to dress himself (usually without help), getting on his own shoes or boots, and wanting to play with his big brothers in the study when they do puzzles, board games, or play with legos. Camden also loves to sing, and he sings with this really cute, really loud voice that you can’t help but smile at. He’s just my little sweetheart!
