On Monday a week ago I got some painting done. I finished up in the stairway (except for the part right along the ceiling above the stairs that I can’t reach), and I got the downstairs bathroom done – that took a long time with all the little spots I had to tape. I rather dislike the taping before the painting, it takes as long to tape as it does to do the actual painting. Oh, and I got the coat closet by the front door organized with some hooks to hang things on the walls inside, which is definitely an improvement. And I got the chair rail in the front hallway painted white, which I think looks nice (although the painter’s tape pulled off some of the darker brown paint below the chair rail, so that will have to be touched up now). But it sure feels good when another room gets all finished, at least.
