Accident Prone

So, our poor little Isaac has been rather accident prone lately. Over the weekend he was playing ball with some of the kids while we were camping and he face planted on the road, so his upper lip got all scraped up. Then yesterday he and Camden climbed up and stood on the back of the couch, and when I told them to get down Camden jumped right down and Isaac fell off the side of the couch by the lamp. A second later I noticed that his mouth was bleeding, and then I realized that he had a big cut across his tongue – I checked, and it was cut on the top and the bottom of his tongue, so I’m pretty sure he cut a hole right through the middle of his tongue. We called the doctor and they said they probably wouldn’t stitch it because cuts like that usually heal well as long as the cut goes from side to side and not from back to front on the tongue. He seems to be doing just fine today, so hopefully he’ll recover quickly and not have any more incidents anytime soon.
