Funny Kids

I just had to write down a couple of funny things the boys have said lately before I forget them.

First of all, a week or so ago Michael was on the cell phone with his grandma while we were driving somewhere in the car. His grandma had asked for a recommendation for a dermatologist, so Michael was giving her the contact information and the name of the doctor he had worked with on his recent derm rotation. Michael started to tell her the doctor’s name, pausing so that she could write it down. So, he said, “His name is John . . .” and Eli quickly finished with “. . . the Baptist!”

Then, while we were down in San Diego visiting my family, we swam in the pool one day and then took the kids inside to shower them off in the big shower in my parents’ bathroom. Kolby had used the bathroom before getting in the shower, and when he returned he was excited to tell us that “Nana and Papa have a special hand washing thing in their bathroom.”
[My parents’ house came with a bidet next to the toilet in the master bath.]
