More Boys in the Family and 'Runner's Knee'

Well, we were excited to find out today that Michael's sister, Mel, is going to be having a baby boy too. She is due just a couple of days before I am. So far this family is really good at boys – we will have four boys and Mel and Christian will have two boys. No female cousins for our boys yet.

Also, I have been having some knee pain with this pregnancy, and I finally went in and had it checked out this morning. The doctor said that I have patellofemoral syndrome, or runner’s knee, even though I’m not a runner. I knew that when you are pregnant your muscles and joints can relax in preparation for the baby to come, and the doctor said that this is likely contributing to the problem. She told me that runner’s knee is the most common knee problem among women. I guess it is when the knee cap is misaligned. I am scheduled to start physical therapy next week. So, hopefully it will end up being something that can be resolved relatively quickly.
