Happy Thanksgiving!

We are all sitting around in my parents' cabin, after having prepared most of the food for Thanksgiving dinner, and my dad is reading 'Where the Red Fern Grows' out loud to all of us grown kids, my mom, and my little boys. When he first started reading, we could hear the emotion in my dad's voice a couple times from the memories of reading that book together as a family around the campfire when we were all kids. Everyone is just relaxing around the living room, spread out on couches, chairs, and laying on the carpet with our dogs, and all listening to Dad read that story. What a sweet morning.
