A New Tradition

I'm excited: we've started a new tradition.  Next week for our family night we are going caroling with family and friends, then coming back to the house for treats.  I've been wanting to go caroling for years, so this year we actually planned it.  (And it won't be nearly as cold to go caroling here as it would have been in New York).  Michael and I just got the Christmas lights up in the back yard (so we'll all be able to see when we get back to the house after dark).  And today I went and had copies made of the lyrics to the songs we'll be singing.  And I just found out that both Matthew and Michelle & Jake and their kids are arriving this weekend, so they'll all be here for caroling too.  I love starting new traditions!
