I Did It!
So in our church there is a ‘general conference’ two times a year when the leaders of the church speak to the people. It goes for several two-hour sessions over a Saturday and a Sunday, totaling ten hours in all. Some people who live near where conference is held can go and watch it in person, but most can watch it on the internet, on tv (if they get the stations that broadcast it), or listen to the audio online or on the radio. The last session of conference was at Easter time. We always try to watch it – we turn on the computer and let it play while everyone sits around the family room. It’s a lot of sitting and listening for the little kids, so we don’t always hear all of every talk. (Also, I have to admit, sometimes if we’re lucky enough to get all the younger kids down for naps during an afternoon session, it can be hard for us to stay awake through the entire thing too when we’re worn out). So it’s a good thing that they make the conference talks available after the sessions. The audio talks are available online almost immediately after the sessions, and then the following month the Ensign magazine comes out with a conference issue, with every talk printed. I’ve never done much reading in the conference issues in the past – I’ll read an article hear and there, but nothing too serious. So, I felt like it was a pretty big deal this morning when I finished the entire issue – over 100 pages of talks. I haven’t done much other reading these last couple months, but I’ve sat and read the articles at breakfast time each morning (often only accomplishing a few paragraphs at a time, and sometimes re-reading the same paragraphs multiple times because of the many little conversations that continue with the boys throughout breakfast time). But I did it.

We watch conference on satellite. It is live feed with Dish network and the BYU channel......LOVE IT. great job on reading it all!
I think it's awesome how the church puts the information out so quickly. The audio is available usually the same day, and the video is usually posted within a few weeks. (Not to mention PDFs of the talks, after they're published in the Ensign.)
They have so many resources available to members (and the general public). The Gospel Library has been a wonderful blessing.
I downloaded MP3s of some of the programming that they posted. On long trips, I especially enjoy listening to "Music with a Message".
